The Ivins House Resource and Referral Center has been providing resource and referral services to disadvantaged families, older adults, and people with illness or disabilities in the Morrisville, PA and surrounding Bucks County communities since 2003. Last year we served nearly 2,000 individuals and families through our programs and services. All of our programs are free to those we serve, and are supported 100% by donations from individuals, businesses, corporations and foundation. With your support, we are able to meet more needs. We encourage you to give serious consideration to donating to this much needed community assistance program.

• More than 1000 clients were served at or in sponsorship with The Ivins House in 2007.
• Faith in Action is a major program at The Ivins House. Faith in Action. This program matches the frail, elderly, homebound and others needing assistance with volunteers who will take them to medical appointments or periodically assist them with small tasks, visits, or calls. • The Benefit Bank is another major program at The Ivins House. This is a program designed to help individuals and families with income below $52,000 per year to complete their federal and state taxes, file them on-line for free, to apply for Food Stamps, Child Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) including coverage for parents, Child Care Subsidy, Medicaid, Pharmaceutical Coverage for the Elderly, Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP), and Voter Registration.
• Volunteers are needed as part of the Faith In Action program, to take the frail, elderly, homebound and others needing assistance to occasional medical appointments or to assist periodically with small tasks, visits or calls. • The Ivins House Dinner & Silent Auction, The Sixth Ivins House Dinner &/Silent Auction, is just weeks away, on Saturday, April 4, 2009, 5:30pm at the Yardley Country Club. Have you RSVP’d? We don’t want you to miss out on the fun and frenzy. We are including a Chinese auction this year, along with a LIVE auction. This will be so exciting, participating in the fast paced bidding adds a whole new dimension to the entire event. We are very excited about some of the items we will have up for bid including a one week stay in Hawaii, a week i n a vacation condo in Naples, Fl, an evening of musical entertainment, and so much more. It promises to be a great evening, but more importantly, you will be actively supporting the Ivins House and the many programs they sponsor. • A real life "Rosie the Riveter", one of the brave women who helped to keep United States manufacturing moving along at a high production rate during the Second World War, has recently used the services of The Benefit Bank.
